                            Péter Esterházy: Rubens and Non-Euclidean Women
                            Exhibiton of costume designs, degustation (Hungarian wine etc.)

17:30 – 18:30        Opening of the Exhibition „Cheb viewed by a foreigner“,
                            café Thalia (theatre)

19:00                    opening of the 2nd  Quartet festival (theatre)

19:30 – 22:30        Performance of Gárdonyi Géza Színház in Eger
                            András Visky: Alcoholists

21:30                    discussion of actors and spectators (theatre club)
22:00                    concert of a Hungarian musician Ágnes Kutas
                            (percussions Jaroslav Kořán)

 

25. March – 2. Festival Day (Serbian National Day)

15:00 – 18:30        „Contemporary Czech drama + French, Serbian and Hungarian plays
                            on the Czech stage“ – lecture with Powerpoint presentation
                            (MgA. Marta Ljubková, in English – Cheb Museum)
16:30 – 18:30        Public reading of a Serbian play (Jazz Café, ancient monastery)
                            Biljana Srbljanović: Family stories
                            Exhibition (presentation of SNP), degustation

19:00 – 22:30        performance of Srpsko narodno pozorište Novi Sad
                            Milena Marković: The Doll Ship

        J. Jirků, M. Ljubková: Once Upon a Time in Cheb
                            (a western cabaret with elements of cartoons and local satire,
                            based on the plot of the film Once Upon a Time in West)

19:00 – 22:30        performance of the Cheb theatre
19:30 – 21:30        Legend of the Chalk Circle
                            (screenplay by Z. Bartoš, M. Ljubková, based on an oriental legend
                            and Brecht´s Caucasian Chalk Circle,
                            story of two women disputing a child)
